- Eligibility
Employees/Owners of a company located in the United States or Canada, who are 18 years or older at time of participation, who are employed by/own companies that sell computer management solutions. Employees of Sponsor (Intel Corporation, "Intel") and its parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, distributors, advertising and promotion agencies and members of the immediate family (defined as spouse, parent, sibling, child and respective spouses regardless of where they reside) and/or those living in the same household of such employees are NOT ELIGIBLE to enter. Residents of the province of Quebec are not eligible to enter.
- How to Enter
Complete at least one of the four levels of the Intel Platform Training. Each level provides you with one additional entry into the drawing. Supply your first name, last name, company email address, telephone number, and mailing address. You may enter the contest under one name and one email address only. Entries are valid for one drawing only and do not carry over into subsequent drawings. Intel is not responsible for entries that are lost, incomplete, illegible or late.
- Winner Submission
The winner will be determined in a random drawing conducted by a third party vendor from all eligible entries approximately 90 days after the posting of the final level of the Intel Platform Training. Winners will be notified by email to the email account provided at the time of registration by the sole discretion of the Sponsor. Entrants must have valid e-mail address and it is the entrant’s responsibility to update Intel with any change in e-mail address. Three attempts will be made to contact the winner at the registered email address. If the winner cannot be reached via registered email address, then the winner will no longer be eligible to win the prize. Entrants agree to be bound by the terms of these Official Rules that are final and binding on all matters pertaining to this Sweepstakes. Winners may be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, social security number, a Liability Release and where legally permissible, a Publicity Release within 7 days following the date of first attempted notification. Failure to comply with this deadline may result in forfeiture of the prize and selection of an alternate winner. Return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. Acceptance of the prize constitutes permission for Intel and its agencies to use winner’s name and/or likeness, biographical material and/or entry (including an altered form of the entry) for advertising and promotional purposes in any media without geographic or time limitation, and without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
If the potential winner is a resident of Canada, they must correctly answer, unaided whether mechanical or otherwise, and within a set timeframe, a mathematical skill-testing question administered by the independent judging organization by telephone.
- Prizes/Retail Value and Odds of Winning
Prize, Approximate Retail Values, and Odds of Winning: Prize: Grand Prize: A trip for two (2) to Richard Petty's Driving Experience of a Lifetime in Las Vegas, Nevada. Trip includes round trip airfare, coach air transportation for winner and guest over 18 from a major commercial U.S. and Canadian airport near winner's home to Las Vegas, Nevada; two (2) nights lodging (standard accommodations, double occupancy), and $500 spending money. Approximate retail value (AVR) of the prize is $4,800 US. Prize consists of only those items specifically listed as a part of the prize. Trip must be taken on dates specified by Intel. All travel arrangements must be made through a travel agent selected by Intel. Winner will be responsible for all gratuities, meals, ground transportation, and any other incidental costs or expenses not identified in these rules.
- Entries
Entries using macro, robotic, script or other forms of automatic entry will be disqualified. Entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned. No mechanically reproduced entries permitted. Proof of submission does not constitute proof of receipt. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, mutilated, misdirected, incomplete, inaccurate or postage-due entries. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an online entrant, the prize will be awarded to the authorized account holder of the email address. The “authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person to whom the email address is assigned by the business.
- Conditions Of Participation
Entrants must have a valid e-mail address and it is the entrant’s responsibility to update Sponsor of any change in their e-mail address. Entrants agree to be bound by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of which are final and binding on all matters pertaining to this Sweepstakes. Sponsor is not responsible for any printing, typographical, mechanical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the Sweepstakes or in the announcement of the prize.
- Internet
Sponsor is not responsible for electronic transmission errors resulting in omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions or limitations of any kind, or inaccurate transmissions of or failure to receive entry information by Sponsor or presenter on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site or any combination thereof. If for any reason the Internet portion of the program is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right to select winners from eligible entries received as of the termination date. Sponsor further reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process. Sponsor may prohibit an entrant from participating in the Sweepstakes if it determines that said entrant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes by cheating, hacking, deception or other unfair playing practices or intending to abuse, threaten or harass other entrants. Caution: Any attempt by a participant to deliberately damage any Web site or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such participant to the fullest extent of the law.
- Disputes/Choice Of Law
Except where prohibited, each entrant agrees that: (1) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by state or federal courts situated in Santa Clara, CA, (2) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, but in no event that includes attorneys' fees; and (3) no punitive, incidental, special, consequential or other damages, including without limitation, lost profits, may be awarded (collectively, "Special Damages"), and (4) entrant hereby waives all rights to claim Special Damages and all rights to have such damages multiplied or increased. California law, without reference to California’s choice of law rules, governs the Sweepstakes and all aspects related thereto.
